Angela Price is originally from Slidell, Louisiana. She began her dance training there at Galloway’s Studio of dance, where she danced for 16 years, 10 of those years on the competition team. She also attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. There she trained under Jarina Carvalho, a ballet master at the Marigny Opera House, Heidi Malnar, founder of Gulf Coast Theatre on Tap, and many other esteemed educators. After high school Angela moved to New York City to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She graduated from the New York campus with a certificate in Dance Theater. She is currently teaching at Elevation Dance Arts on Long Island. Since graduating she has performed with the Warner Brothers Polar Express, the Human Rights First Organization, and most recently the Arts for Autism benefit concert at the Gershwin Theater. She is so grateful to be continuing her dance journey in the bright lights of New York City!
